The story
Dawn over Castle Greenhold. One soldier, Kai, picks up a green flag, because someone has to stand up for the castle. A young squire named Sami carries it for him, and soon farmers, archers, a blacksmith and knights fall in behind them: fifty in all. The King and Queen name them the Green Guard.
That night, out of a burned forest, comes the Red Horde: a thousand soldiers in black spiked armor, led by Warlord Vorn and the Red Queen, marching on the castle and its gold.
At sunrise, the Green Guard forms its line on the plain.
